Family, craft & connection

Glass runs
in the family.

I’m Caleb Carlson. The son of glass artists Kurt and Lynda Carlson, I grew up surrounded by art and nature in New York’s Finger Lakes region. I started working with glass at sixteen, carrying a family craft into a life of my own.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked as an educator and coordinator at The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass. Every day, I teach and help coordinate glassmaking experiences that bring people into the craft.

That connection is at the heart of my own work, too. I’m drawn to simple, elegant forms and colors that bring a little more beauty to everyday life.

One of the happiest parts of making a cup is seeing it become part of someone’s day.

On its way

Orders ship together when all pieces are ready. US shipping is $20 for 10-19 pieces, $30 for 20-29, and $10 more for each additional group of 10. Applicable tax is added at checkout.

Is this glassware intended for everyday use?

Yes. These pieces are made to be used, not just displayed. Each is re-annealed—returned to a controlled heating and cooling cycle—to relieve internal stress in the glass.

What makes each piece unique?

Each piece is handmade, so size, shape, and color vary slightly. Photos show examples of the work.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Email photos of the item and its packaging to carlsonglassworks.cc@gmail.com so Caleb can help.

Can I ask about a larger order?

Absolutely. Email Caleb with your preferred styles, colors, quantities, and timing.
